Requirement for Proof of Negative COVID-19 Test or Recovery from COVID-19 for All Air Passengers Arriving in the United States

If you plan to travel internationally, you will need to get tested no more than 3 days before you travel by air into the United States (US) and show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight, or be prepared to show documentation of recovery (proof of a recent positive viral test and a letter from your healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you were cleared to travel).
On January 12, 2021, CDC announced an Order requiring all air passengers arriving to the US from a foreign country to get tested no more than 3 days before their flight departs and to present the negative result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding the flight. Air passengers will also be required to confirm that the information they present is true in the form of an attestation. This Order is effective as of 12:01am EST (5:01am GMT) on January 26, 2021.

At Bird of Paradise Beachfront Cottages, we take the safety of our guests and team members very seriously. Our objective is to provide our guests with a safe and enjoyable experience. Bird of Paradise is following all CDC and Local Health Ministry Guidelines.
PRACTICING SOCIAL DISTANCING
• Team Members and Guests are asked to avoid hugs, handshakes and large gatherings stay 6 feet apart from others at all times.
CLEANLINESS & SANITIZATION
• Our cottages are disinfected with CDC-approved & EPA Compliant cleaning & sanitizing agents
• High touch areas to include but not limited to (doorknobs, handles, sink handles, remote controls, toilet handles, toilet seats, nightstands, telephones, AC control panels, light switches, luggage racks and floorings) are all cleaned and sanitized often
• Guests will have access to masks, gloves and hand sanitizers at their request
• Hand sanitizer stations will be located at the front doors of each of our cottages
MASKS AND GLOVES
• All team members will be wearing masks while on resort property
• Team Members cleaning of our cottages will be in gloves and masks at all times
• Guests will be encouraged to wear masks and utilize hand sanitizers while at public gatherings
MONITORING TEAM MEMBERS HEALTH
• All team members will have their temperature tested regularly and at random before each shift
• Any team member with a temperature of 100.4 and above will be sent home immediately
• All team members will certify that they have not had any COVID-19 symptoms prior to work (symptoms based on CDC guidelines)
